" THE DOUBLE HELIX" was formed on Nov. 24th 2002,in the computer gaming world of "DELTA FORCE LAND WARRIOR DEMO".
In the wake of a disturbance in the clan "GLOBAL STRIKE FORCE" (GSF) that left many on edge to it's questionable past
and future leadership and direction. "VIPER" set out to find a symbol of how a true gaming squad should be run while the
frustration was still fresh in his mind.He found the name "THE DOUBLE HELIX" which would symbolize the strength of a
squad while pointing out the weaknesses in our counterparts. "THE DOUBLE HELIX" did just that.
Shortly after the name was chosen he confronted "Dutchtreat, Iceman and Antares" and all agreed this was the
path to take. So the Journey began."THE DOUBLE HELIX" started off as a squad aimed at continued domination of
the "Delta Force Land Warrior Demo"computer game.Since then the (family) has branched into other computer games
(America's Army,Call of Duty,BlackHawk Down ) both casually and competively.
BIRDOG, a member since Dec.2nd 2002 set off to expand the ( family ) into the PlayStation Gaming World
thus forming the "TEAM DOUBLE HELIX" Clan in Socom U.S. Navy Seals Combined Assualt in August 2006
